Kieran's hamster that died a couple of weeks after this photo was taken, he seemed to have broken his leg or foot when he was in his little hamster ball because his foot got stuck and we had to puch it back through the little whole and a few weeks later her died. Kieran was really sad, but now he has fish.

New driveway!

These are pictures Kieran took in August of the guys putting in our new driveway. He loved watching them work and stayed outside watching for hours, he even had a picnic in the back yard so he could continue to watch! 

 

August 12st playing at home

It really seemed like we didn't do much playing at home this summer, we spent so much time at the Webber pool, the school playground and gardens, the children' s and science museums and golf, baseball and music classes. But really, thanks to long summer days, Kieran had plenty of play-time at home! 

Kids Cook picnic August 17th

Thursdays all summer long we got together with other people from Kieran's school and our community at the Loring Community School schoolyard garden. The school children helped to plant, maintain, water, and harvest the garden's vegetables, herbs, and fruits. Kieran spent so much time at the garden this summer, it was like his home away from home. He also got to have his picture and quote in the Minneapolis Star and Tribune in August and his picture in the Camden news in October- both of which really excited him!
